Mojan Omidvar is a PhD researcher at Queen Mary University of London, where she is developing a self-driving platform for accelarating dielectric material discovery. With both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mojan has acquired a strong foundation in both biomedical sciences and tele-operation soft surgical robotic control. Mojan has been recognized as one of the "50 Young People Making Manufacturing Smarter" by Innovate UK KTN and The UK Manufacturer in 2020. With a background in engineering, she is passionate about leveraging technology to improve manufacturing processes and drive innovative academic research in the industry. Mojan is also actively involved in Women in Scince and Engineering (WISE) organisation, and aims to promote gender diversity and support girls in STEM fields.
