Predoctoral researcher
University of Granada, Spain
I am Marisa, I am graduated in biochemistry with MSc in drug research by University of Granada. Currently, I am a PhD student in the Department of Physical Chemistry in the Univestity of Granada, under the supervision of Irene Luque Fernández.
My research focuses on the development of host-oriented, broad-spectrum antivirals. We have set up a multidisciplinary approach combining biophysical studies with phage display and high throughput screening methodologies in search for ligands of TSG 101 UEV and Nedd4 WW3 with potential as novel broad spectrum antivirals. I am really motivated to make the most of this pre-doctoral stage.
