Laura Herbst

Research Fellow
Fraunhofer-Institute for Production Technology, Germany

Laura Herbst, born in 1996, studied Molecular and Appplied Biotechnology with a focus on biochemical engineering at RWTH Aachen University. Since 2020, she has been a research fellow at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT in the group Automation in Life Science. At Fraunhofer IPT she develops automated platforms for stem cell manufacturing and manufacturing of ATMPs and accompanies bioprocess adaption from the lab bench to the automated system.
