DPhil Student
University of Oxford, United Kingdom
I am the recipient of the National Science Scholarship (ASTAR, Singapore) currently pursuing a DPhil degree in the Wade-Martins’ lab in the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics, University of Oxford. My research interests focus on incorporating novel techniques, such as microfluidics, to establish advanced neuronal circuit models of Parkinson’s Disease from induced pluripotent stem cells. I subsequently combine molecular and electrophysiological approaches to investigate neuronal disturbances and potential physiological mechanisms underlying this debilitating disease. Prior to joining Oxford, I read Biomedical Sciences with specialisation in Neuroscience (BSc, First Class Honours) at Imperial College London.
