Senior Lecturer
Monash University, Australia
Tuncay Alan is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Monash University in Melbourne Australia. His research focuses on micro/nano mechanical systems and microfluidics. He is leading the Dynamic Micro Devices Laboratory, which combines nanofabrication and acoustics to study the interaction of vibrating micro/nanoscale structures with the surrounding fluid media for aerosol delivery and synthesis of nanomaterials. He has 75+ peer reviewed papers and 8 patents. He was awarded his PhD in Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca NY in 2007. Prior to joining Monash University, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, and University College London in UK.
