~30 years of Pharma experience mostly in the application of automation and technology for early drug discovery projects and screening. Joined AstraZeneca in 2000 as part of the Oncology Therapy Area team supporting post HTS screening with automation. Established a centralized biochemical screening group to support the global Oncology franchise and received the Microsoft Innovation in Pharma Award for the deployment of a LIMS system to support core screening. Transitioned into Discovery Sciences when it was formed and continued to work with technology development. In 2017 won the SLAS Innovation Award for the development of acoustic mist ionization mass spectrometry, an ultra high throughput mass spec platform for HTS. Now looking to work with collaborators to develop technology solutions for next generation drug discovery.
