Applications Biologist

Jessica Beskid is an applications biologist at Next Advance, Inc. as well as a Master's student and teaching assistant at Binghamton University in the Biochemistry, Cell & Molecular Biology program. As a long-term intern at Next Advance, Jessica is dedicated to product optimization and protocol development. At Binghamton University she is a former member of Dr. Jessica Hua's Ecotoxicology/Evotoxicology Lab and a current member of Dr. Heather Fiumera's Mitochondrial-Nuclear Genome Interactions Lab. Her thesis research involves investigating the impacts of mitochondrial-nuclear genome interactions on aging using novel S. cerevisiae recombinant collections.
