CEO
KML Vision GmbH, Austria
I received my MSc in eHealth from Graz University of Applied Sciences, and my PhD in Medical Sciences from Medical University of Graz. My research focused on automated image analysis based on machine learning, supporting pathologists in tissue diagnostics. I was a research assistant at Graz University of Technology before in 2016 I co-founded KML Vision as CTO. In 2017, I joined the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Clinical Forensic Imaging as a postdoctoral researcher on deep learning in biomedical image analysis and forensic age estimation, before fully switching from academia to industry. Currently, I am CEO at KML Vision, where we develop the IKOSA image analysis platform for biopharma and medical sciences, focusing on microscopy applications in cancer research, regenerative medicine, and drug discovery.
