MSc Natalia Karczewska, Centre for High Throughput Screening Studies, Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences
I earned a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Adam Mickiewicz University in PoznaĆ, Poland in 2022. After graduation, I started working as a Research Biologist at the Centre for High Throughput Screening Studies in the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In this role, I am responsible for conducting projects based on High-Content screening, with a particular focus on performing the Cell Painting assay for screening of compound libraries and developing alternative high-content assays. Additionally, I work on image analysis of obtained images using Cell Profiler and Harmony software, and conduct data analysis of the collected multiparametric data. This year I have been awarded with the Tony B. Award via the SLAS meet-up held in Warsaw.
