(1060-A) Better biologics by design: Keeping pace with the demand for biologics with diverse affinities using high throughput flow cytometry

Abstract: During the discovery of NANOBODY® molecules, a large number of clones are evaluated in screening assays that are optimized to detect high-affinity binding to cell expressed targets.
For the optimal design of modalities that can explore new modes of action, there is an increased demand for NANOBODY® molecules with diverse affinities. Therefore, new flow cytometry based high-throughput screening methods were developed to allow the differentiation between lower and higher affine NANOBODY® molecules for binding to cell expressed targets.
